Our Story: From the Nave Gialla to Your Home

I am Andrea and together with my wife Maja we founded This is La Corse as a way to stay connected to the island year-round. My grandfather fell in love with a wild beach and sea view during a camper van journey from Italy in the 1970s, since then the Balagne region became the family's sanctuary. Decades later, that same yellow ferry—the Nave Gialla from Corsica Ferries—still symbolizes homecoming. We created this gallery to share that feeling: the scent of maquis, the taste of lonzu from a real shepherd, the weight of a knife forged by a master. This is Corsica, unfiltered and unforgettable. This, is la Corse.
